Macon-Bibb County Parks and Recreation will offer the following free art workshops:
Fall Wreath Workshop (for adults)– Thursday, October 2nd, from 5:30-8:00pm at the Bloomfield Community Center, learn how to construct a door wreath for the upcoming season. All supplies are included, to pre-register call 781-6000.
Scrapbook Workshop (for adults)- Saturday, October 4th, from 12:30-2:00pm at the LH Williams Community Center, learn the art of scrapbooking! This workshop will teach you how to use different formats and placement methods. Feel free to bring pictures or come with a theme in mind. All supplies are included, to pre-register call 751-7036
Lizard Key Chain (kids’ workshop)- Did you know that lizards vary in size from under 3 inches long to over 10 feet long! Bring the kids to this fun, one hour workshop where they will use beads, plastic lace, and their creativity to make a fun little lizard that can be used as a keychain, a zipper pull, or an ornament. Two classes will be offered on Saturday, October 4th. 10am at LH Williams and 12pm at North Macon Park. To register for the 10am class at LH Williams, call 751-7036.
