The One City Art Festival is a city-wide celebration of the arts that started in 2013. It was originally founded by six art organizations: Tubman African American Museum, Macon Arts Alliance, Middle Georgia Art Association, Contemporary Arts Exchange, Museum of Arts and Sciences, and The 567 Center for Renewal. In the original spirit of collaboration, this year’s festival will be spearheaded by the Arts Roundtable, an association of art organizations from across Macon and Middle Georgia.
The 2017 One City Arts Festival consists of more than 20 events presented by more than 20 participating organizations over 10 days. View the complete calendar of events.
I am the Event Coordinator for Furever After Rescue, we would like to hold an adoption event as part of The One City Art Festival and I would like to discuss the possibility of participating.
Thank you
Susan Nixon
Susan, since we’re a new festival, we don’t really have a policy set up right now for anything like that, but I’d be happy to discuss it with the other organizers and see what they think. My e-mail is melissa@the567.org if you’d like to discuss it further. (Melissa Macker, chairperson of 2014 One City Art Festival)
Will other vendors be able to setup and participate?
Continue to send me information on the event as it approaches.
Please check out Market City Café. Middle Georgia Art Association has a very nice display hanging there. Enjoy!
